A 1930's silent film from Germany that, from the title, seems like it might need to be part of horror month. I say this because it seems to be the same basis of the Hellraiser series.Well, it's nothing like that. Louise Brooks plays Lulu a beautiful woman who uses her charm and looks to manipulate men. With loose morals and bad intentions she finds herself a fugitive on the run which creates more and more trouble for herself, and most of all those that try and help her.
Just a boring watch, long, slow, not very interesting. I have trouble getting into silent movies that focus on the characters facial expressions and body language and not the plot. This is probably because I tend to watch these on a small computer screen and have trouble seeing that the excitement is about.
I was just happy when it was over.
