Harold Lloyd plays "The Freshman," a nerdy kid who just wants to be popular at college. Lloyd is one of the lesser known comedians from the early ages of cinema. He has a famous scene when he is hanging from a clock in Safety Last!. This is probably his only other well known film.Lloyd does everything he can to become a football star and win friends at school. The antics ensue as he addresses the school, hosts a party, and joins the football team.
A well paced silent film.
