A movie hovering at about #150 on the imdb top 250 of all time. I can't say I would have been interested in this movie at all if it wasn't for these high votes.The plot is that a high-school student decides to dress up like a super hero and fight crime. After a near death experience he doesn't give up and manages to actually help save someone from a couple thugs. Little does he know someone is recording it, puts it on youtube and he becomes popular. That's when a couple "real" crime fighters seek him out and the story takes off.
Starring Aaron Johnson [aka Kick-Ass], Chloe Moretz, and Nicolas Cage this movie is stupid at times. Entertaining at others. Overall it was just ok. I don't see why it is ranked so high. Males under 18 seemed to love it, and the Top 1000 voters gave it 1 point less than everyone else.
Expect this one to fall out of the imdb top 250 and more people see it. Also, expect a sequel, I think this was built to make into a running series.
