Starring John Cena and produced by the WWE Wrestling Federation... hey what do you expect. I had no idea when I stumbled across this one that it was starring a professional wrestler, nor do I really see how he is a wrestler because he didn't look that big in the movie.Cena plays a police officer that kills a criminals girlfriend while apprehending him. When the bad guy escapes from prison he kidnaps Cena's wife and puts him through a series of games. If he can survive all 12 rounds of the game then his wife will go free.
Full of non-stop action, and requiring little thought, this is the perfect popcorn movie. Many plot holes and average acting, a forgettable movie that was only worth watching because it is new. Nothing that will be remembered in 5 years. I'm sure you can see this on Spike, TBS, or TNT in the next year or two.
